Monday: Pete Yorn at Parish. A standout at last year’s ACL Fest, Yorn arrives for a headlining show of his own between the fest’s two ACL weekends at Sixth Street’s premier venue. Yorn’s an interesting career study, with fine rock-pop singer-songwriter records that never quite made him a star yet attracted the likes of Scarlett Johansson for a duo recording project. He’s playing solo acoustic on this tour, with no opener. $30. 8 p.m. 214 E. Sixth St. parishaustin.com. — P.B.

Wednesday: Nobelity Project 4×4 Fundraiser at Gibson Guitar Showroom. A local organization that promotes education initiatives in Latin America and Kenya, the Nobelity Project is using proceeds from this year’s annual 4×4 event to build a kitchen at a rural school in Kenya. Local luminaries Bob Schneider, Gary P. Nunn, Trish & Darin Murphy, and the Warren Hood Trio will perform five songs each. The $50 ticket includes pre-show food and cocktails. 7 p.m. doors. 3601 S.
