Part of a short tour of small venues to promote the May 18 release of Barnett’s new album “Tell Me How You Really Feel,” this show initially was to be at Saengerrunde Hall and sold out quickly. But now it’s been moved the the Mohawk, which has put a limited amount of additional tickets on sale. Get ’em while they’re hot. Tuesday: Toni Price at Little Darlin’. Last fall brought an end to more than two decades of “Hippie Hour” shows with singer Price and her first-rate acoustic band at the Continental Club. Sometimes a change of scenery can be good. Price recently started doing Tuesdays with Warren Hood, Marshall Hood and Willie Pipkin at this new indoor-outdoor south Austin hot spot. We stopped by in late April and found a sizable crowd, many of them clearly longtime Toni fans who were singing along much of the time. Price can still spin a yarn between songs, though she might be inclined to talk about a grandchild these days. She remains an Austin treasure, one of the best singers this town has ever had. Wednesday: Joe Pug at 3Ten. It’s a welcome-back show for the indie Americana singer-songwriter, who spent most of the past decade living in Austin kind of under the radar. His profile rose elsewhere, thanks in part to the Killers’ Brandon Flowers becoming a major fan and taking him out as a tour opener. New to fatherhood in 2017, Pug moved back to his D.C.-area homebase largely for family reasons, but his music remains a strong fit with Austin’s musical aesthetic. $17-$22. 8:30 p.m. 310 Willie Nelson Blvd. 3tenaustin.com. — P.B.

Wednesday: Belen Escobedo and Felipe Perez dual album release at Texas Folklife. The traditional-music label Spring Fed Records is based in Tennessee, but this month they’re celebrating the release of two records by renowned Texas artists. San Antonio’s Escobedo, recipient of a 2017 Texas Master Fiddler Award, has helped preserve the South Texas Tejano style with her fiddle tunes on “Panfilo’s Guera.” Perez, a renowned accordionist from Corpus Christi who’s been performing since the 1950s, recorded original material for “Texas en Polka.” Accompanying them both will be Virginio Castillo on bajo sexto and Ramon Gutierrez on tololoche. $10 (free for Texas Folklife members). 7 p.m. 1708 Houston St. texasfolklife.org. — P.B.

Thursday: Khalid at HEB Center at Cedar Park. Still young, but much less dumb and broke than he was a couple years ago, the 20-year-old honorary Texan, who found fame as a high school student in El Paso, was one of the biggest artists to play South by Southwest this year (and he’ll be back for the Austin City Limits Music Festival). Backed by a full band and a cheer squad, he delivered a radiant performance with effortless vocal prowess. $49-$59. 8 p.m. 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park. hebcenter.com. — D.S.S.
