FRIDAY

Stephen Marley at Empire. Of all the Marley offspring, Stephen and his brother, Ziggy, bear the closest resemblances to their father, Bob, with striking similarities in both physical appearance and sound. With his 2011 album, “The Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life,” Stephen carried the banner for the Marley spiritual legacy with a call of unity and positivity through strife. The sequel to that album, “The Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life,” drops the same days as this show. With ever present turmoil in the world at large we could all use some healing reggae vibes. $25-$30. 8 p.m. 604 E. Seventh St. empireatx.com.— D.S.S.

They canceled a 2014 ACL Fest late-night show at the Paramount two years ago, so their return is long-awaited and overdue. Baio opens. $25. 8 p.m. doors. 912 Red River St. mohawkaustin.com. — P.B.
