Wednesday: The Wine Down with the Greyhounds at 3Ten. Summer must really be ending when the Wine Down winds down. One of the best seasonal series in town is this KUTX-sponsored after-work shindig on the last Wednesday of the month from April to September. Previously held upstairs at ACL Live, the series got a perfect new home this year in the theater’s new street-level showcase club 3Ten. Well-chosen local musicians play a couple of sets, and there’s free wine samples from sponsor Ruffino plus complimentary bites from nearby eateries (this time, the Living Room at W Austin). Soulful rock duo the Greyhounds feature keyboardist Anthony Ferrell, one of the city’s best singers, and guitarist Andrew Trube; they’ll close out this year’s series on a high note.
