Saturday: Haiti Relief Concert at Barracuda. Continental Drift, a 10-piece instrumental ensemble that blends elements of jazz and Latin sounds into sprawling Afrobeat jams, launches a new social good concert series with a hurricane relief benefit for Haiti. Psychedelic cumbia outfit Money Chicha headlines, with high-energy salsa/cumbia/reggae outfit El Tule and Nigerian artist Kalu James’ Electric Joint also performing. Ghislaine Mahone, a.k.a. Qi Dada from Riders Against the Storm, will lead a Haitian dance troupe and give a presentation about Haiti, and Thai Fresh will serve food on site.
