This week’s music picks: More holiday fare, from the Keen to the Bazaar

Tuesday: Robert Earl Keen’s Merry Christmas from the Fam-O-Lee at ACL Live. When you write a big ol’ silly Christmas song, as Keen did for his 1994 album “Gringo Honeymoon,” you better be prepared to play it every December for eternity. Keen went so far as to build a whole annual show around it. This year’s soiree, well-timed with Keen’s new “Live Dinner Reunion” album that includes a new version of the song, features an opening set of swing-jazz from Hot Club of Cowtown. 8 p.m. $29-$49. 310 Willie Nelson Blvd. acl-live.com. — P.B.

Thursday: Quiet Company, Gina Chavez, Jackie Venson at Palmer Events Center. There’s 12 days of Christmas, but there’s only 11 days of the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, and this one is number 9. It’s one of the best lineups of the bunch, in terms of both quality and diversity: Indie-rockers Quiet Company will turn up the heat in the 7 p.m. slot, after Gina Chavez and her eclectic band spice up the afternoon starting at 3 p.m. Kicking the day off bright and early at 11 a.m. is rising blues guitar star Jackie Venson, who’ll likely play the song she did for our Austin360 holiday video series (watch it and others at austin360.com/holidays). Admission each day is $8, good from 10 a..m. to 10 p.m. 900 Barton Springs Road. armadillobazaar.com. — P.B.
