Monday: Peter Yarrow at One World Theatre. Yarrow’s major legacy in American music are the songs he recorded with 1960s folk-boom trio Peter, Paul & Mary. Regionally speaking, though, the New Yorker’s role in getting the Kerrville Folk Festival off the ground in the early ’70s has had had a lasting influence on Central Texas. “If I wanted to imagine the way the world could be, I’d go to Kerrville,” Yarrow said when festival founder Rod Kennedy died in 2014. Tuesday: Natalia Lafourcade at ACL Live. Lafourcade is part of an important wave of Mexican female Latin alternative artists and performs as part of the Pachanga Presents concert series that replaced the Latino music festival this year. A South by Southwest alum who recorded her debut “Austin City Limits” taping earlier this year, Fourcade won a Grammy this spring for her latest album, “Hasta la Raíz.” $29-$49. Tuesday-Wednesday: Old 97’s at 3Ten. Across more than two decades of playing in Austin, the heralded Dallas alt-country band Old 97’s has played seemingly everywhere, from small clubs on Sixth Street in their early days to showcase venues such as Stubb’s to the big stages at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. So what’s new this time, then? Well, the venue: It’s their first visit to 3Ten, which opened this spring and has provided a great smaller room for more intimate performances at ACL Live. Wednesday: Kanye West at the Erwin Center. Say what you will about ’Ye and the way his reality show family has diminished his artistic value — he’s still one of the best live performers in the game. Yes, he has issues, but watching him work them out in front of a crowd of thousands is always captivating. Also, you know he’s going to mix some of his old faves in with the new stuff on his current Saint Pablo Tour, and (spoiler alert) he spends part of the show hovering over the audience on a floating stage platform. $29.50-$129.50. 8 p.m. 1701 Red River St. uterwincenter.com. — D.S.S.

The album boasts guest spots from a who’s who of 2016’s hottest up-and-comers, including Anderson.Paak, AlunaGeorge and Vic Mensa, and it’s a safe bet that the Montreal DJ/mixer is about to skyrocket. $20-$22. 8 p.m. doors. 2015 E.
