If you’re not going to Weekend Two of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, a handful of festival-aligned shows in the clubs offer one more way to get in on the action. In the meantime, plenty of local venues offer quality alternatives this weekend, along with shows to keep the music playing once the fest is over.
Friday-Sunday: ACL Fest Late Night Shows. Fifteen events at eight different venues find acts playing Zilker Park in the daytime taking to the city streets at night. Friday’s highlights include Nothing But Thieves and the Struts at Emo’s, while Saturday’s options feature LL Cool J with Lizzo at Stubb’s and Brett Dennen at Antone’s.
