Capsula at Emo’s. While South by Southwest’s free shows at Auditorium Shores always have been a great notion, they’re always subject to the weather, as we were reminded Friday evening. As such, one nice thing about an additional free SXSW event on Saturday is that its indoor location takes rain cancellations out of the equation. But the main reason to head to Emo’s is for one last chance to hear Argentinian band Capsula perform David Bowie’s “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” in its entirety. The group kicked off SXSW Music with a bang when they did this show at Maggie Mae’s on Tuesday. They’ll play first at 8 p.m., followed by local tribute bands A Live One at 9:30 p.m. (doing Phish songs) and HeartByrne at 11:30 p.m. (playing the music of the Talking Heads). Admission is free with an SXSW guest pass. 2015 E. Riverside Drive. emosaustin.com.
