Jerry Jeff Walker birthday bash at the Paramount. Used to be that Jerry Jeff’s birthday party was held on his actual birthday, March 16. But then SXSW came to town and, well, it’s just easier to wait a couple of weeks. At 74, Walker is still the guy who pretty much every so-called “Texas country” roadhouse roots-rocker owes his career to.
